Happy release day! Today is the final day of Cassette Week 2020! All the Cassette Week releases are now out and available! Visit a participating store and pickup some these great releases. If they are sold out you can try to buy from the labels or bands directly. Below i’ve attached links to bandcamp pages and websites that will help you track them down.

BIG THANKS!

Big thanks to all the bands and labels who put their faith in Tapehead City and signed up their releases for Cassette Week. We were all unsure on how to proceed after Cassette Store Day was cancelled, but i think Cassette Week 2020 was a success! It was really great working with everyone. I loved checking out the music you all put out.

Big thanks to all the retail stores who signed up and carried Cassette Week titles! I know you all have been dealing with a lot between 3 record store days and COVID, but thanks for making Cassette Week a priority within all the chaos.

Big thanks to Leslie Wallick for creating our amazing Cassette Week logo, banners and flyers! Visit lesliewallick.com to hire her for art projects.

Big thanks to Brooklyn Filmmaker, Brendan Mcknight for making the totally 80’s Cassette Week video promo! Brendan makes kick ass music videos for bands. Visit brendanmcknight.com to hire him for a project.

Big thanks to Andvinyl records, JB’s Analog and Daddy Kool records for doing the interviews and letting us feature your stores for Cassette Week blog - DAY 2

Big thanks to Tim Morgan and John Platt SR for the interviews and letting us show the world your epic cassette collections in Cassette Week blog - DAY 4

Big thanks to J-Ro for his awesome article on “the art of the mixtape” on Cassette Week Blog - Day 5

Big thanks to Chuck Wren from Jump Up Records and Mike Bruno from Dead Broke Rekerds for the interviews and letting us feature your labels in Cassette Week blog - DAY 6

…and finally big thanks to ME! This was a hell of a lot of work haha , but i honestly loved every second of it. It was an honor to contribute this to the cassette community. I hope everyone enjoyed it and found some new music to dig on for the winter.
